How to Use

Parkmore H.I. Gut Herbs may be prepared as an oil infusion or concentrated paste.

Oil Infusion

Begin by adding the full contents of the package to approximately 1 gallon of high-quality canola oil in a clean, food-safe container, leaving enough room for the herbs and thorough mixing.

Close the container securely and mix/shake well. Allow the mixture to infuse for 3–5 days before feeding.

As space becomes available in the container, additional approved oil may be added. One package may be prepared with up to 2 gallons of oil, depending on the specific feeding program recommended by Parkmore Supplements for the individual horse.

High-quality canola oil is Parkmore’s preferred carrier oil. Camelina oil or flaxseed oil may also be used as approved alternatives.

Please do not prepare the infusion with olive oil, rice bran oil, blended cooking oils, or any oil other than high-quality canola, camelina, or flaxseed oil. These oils are not approved by Parkmore Supplements for use with this product.

The ingredients will naturally settle after mixing. Shake or stir thoroughly before each use.

Feed 2 fluid ounces of prepared infused oil per feeding (up to 2x per day), mixed with the horse’s regular feed.

The final oil volume, serving amount, and feeding frequency may be adjusted according to the individual horse’s diet, body condition, workload, and nutritional needs. Follow the specific program provided by Parkmore Supplements, or your veterinarian.

  • Provide fresh water at all times.
  • Keep in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Use only as directed.

Concentrated Paste

For horses that do not readily accept added oil, or whose feeding program limits additional oil, mix the directed amount of dry herbs with the least amount of water or equine-appropriate aloe vera juice as possible to form a paste.

Feed ½ teaspoon daily, mixed with the horse’s regular feed, unless otherwise directed for the individual horse.

Use clean utensils and a clean, food-safe container when preparing either option.

Introduce gradually when adding the product to the horse’s feeding program.

  • Provide fresh water at all times.
